Nintendo's Mario kart is one of the "most known" games from Nintendo. You need to race with all figures from Nintendo in a cartoony world. You can get power-ups from the road to give the game more action.  More action in the tracks! The big difference between the previous version (Double dash) is that you can stunt a lot more in the game. There are ramps, half-pipes and hills everywhere. If you do a stunt with success, you'll get a speedboost. Of course will give the power-ups an extra racing dimension to this game! You are even able to drive in the slipstream of an other "kart". This will give a speedboost as result of course! There are total 32 tracks that are split up in cups. You'll get some old classic maps and new cool maps to drive around. You will see maps like "Bowser's Castle" again but with some small changes to reach higher speeds! Gameplay! Like in the game-cube version, the game is split up in three difficulty catagories.
But Nintendo has added something new too! A motorcycle is one of the new verhicles that's available to race! The number of opponents has changed too! You need to beat eleven "Nintendo figures" in a race!  Controls... This game will have a plastic wheel included. It's nothing more than a shell around your Wiimote. Anyway, it can give you a bit trouble at the start because the wheel isn't connected to something. You are holding the wheel in the air and you can move it around without any limits. But the main idea is to steer with the wheel movements. For the people who don't like the wheel, is the old game-cube controller compatible with the game. Or you can use the Wiimote and nunchuck to drive on the colorful roads! Online modus! Finally! Nintendo wasn't very fast with giving the "Wii" an online modus. But Mario kart has finally the option to race with 16 other players on the tracks of the game! This will bring more fun to the people and fans. Video! Nintendo presentation.
