Command and Conquer 3: tiberium wars 16-08-2008  Article: Platform: PC, Xbox 360 Developer: Nintendo Publisher: EA games Genre: Strategy Tiberium The Command and Conquer series is very well known by many gamers. The third version is even better! With stunning graphics and a good gameplay is this one of the best (RTS) games that I've played... But there are many people who don't know this serie. It all started when a piece of tiberium hit the earth. This green/blue crystal has a very strange power. It changes everything in this type of crystal that collides with it. But it doesn't spread fast...  And as you could expect, it spread all over the world and the people are devided in two organisations with their own targets. The GDI and the NOD are in control of the zones that aren't affected to much with the dangerious Tiberium. But this piece of crystal is the main source of the war... The GDI is trying to live as good as possible. Protect the people, defend against NOD and fight against the crystal. NOD is trying to use the crystal to conquer the whole world. And this is a threat to all humanity!  The new stuff! The basics are the same. Construct buildings, unlock new weapons and create a big army to destroy the enemy. But there are some new parts in the game that didn't excists before. You can create a group of mutants, use new superweapons (much better and effective than the old one) and there is a new enemy to fight against! The aliens have noticed the tiberium on earth and want to use it. Of course will give this a big conflict and the war starts again! The arsenal of the aliens are quite interesting. It mostly looks like a bunch of glowing lava-lamps! Gameplay! As told before, the basics are the same as the previous games. But this time with a new enemy, better graphics, good sounds and a whole new storyline to play! I won't spoil the whole story but the conflict is getting worse and you need to battle against the NOD and aliens. But the singleplayer campaign is very good! The movies (HD) will introduce you the whole story and will give you the real "commander" feeling. Many characters will speak to you and tell you what's going on. And if you've finished the first campaign (GDI), the second campaign of the NOD is waiting for you! So you'll need to follow every mission from all teams. But the skirmish and online-mode is always ready if you've finished the singleplayer campaign. This will extend the live-time of the game and will give the gamer more bucks for the money. The online modus works perfectly and will give a status if the game could lag or not. This prevents any laggy contests for a big war. But we've noticed that the aliens (scrin) are in advance. Their weapons are a bit more powerfull than the GDI or NOD. This balance problem will be noticable while online gaming.  Conclusion? It's a awesome game that will give you much pleasure if you're a big fan of the Command and Conquer series. The battles in this game aren't very tactical but it's very cool to storm an enemy with a huge army! And the graphics, sounds and gameplay fits good with this game!
