A small beamer... 07-11-2008  Article: Texas Instruments is busy with a very original idea! Who didn't thought of a portable projector? They've designed the Pico Projector to move with you. That's a very good idea for mobile gamers! Pico Projector is only 11.5 x 5 x 2.2 cm and weights just 160g. You can connect it to a notebook, netbook, Mediaplayer, I-pod and everything that's capable of outputting a video signal. The device itself can create a screen that's up to 50 inch (1.27 meter) diagonal! That's quite impressive for such a small device. You could imagine that it won't show high-definition resolutions on the wall. It uses a resolution of 640x480. Anyway, it doesn't create any sound (it has no fan to cool it down) and it has it's own battery. There's a Lithium Ion battery installed that will make it possible to use the device for one hour.
